Lahore, Inzamam ul Haq has been the leading and most prominent player in Pakistani team and after retirement, he is now the chief selector in the Pakistan cricket board. He gave an interview to media and said that Pakistani cricket team needs a good all rounder, who can play good cricket for Pakistan. He quoted Azhar Mahmood and Abdul Razaq, who were the excellent all rounders and they showed tremendous performances on number of occasions. But there is no substitute of these players, which Pakistan cricket team is facing the shortage of the good all rounder.
He talked about the current one day international series against West Indies and said that Pakistani cricket team should not lose hope of winning the match and they should not take the West Indies easy. They should concentrate on their performance and Pakistani team will do the comeback in the series. He further added that the selection of the players for the national team is not good task and he gave chance to 7 to 8 new players in the team and he kept the previous performances of the players and also their requirements in the team.
