Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Islamabad: The players of the national cricket team reached Pakistan after winning the ICC champions Trophy 2017. They were welcomed warmly at the airport and at their homes.

Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed and Ruman Raees reached at the Karachi airport and the Governor of Sindh, Sindh sports minister and Mayor of Karachi and huge number of viewers welcomed the national heroes on the airport. The people there became emotional and they raised the slogan for Pakistan and for the national team. Then the captain reached at his home and he showed his Champions Trophy to the public from his home. People made their selfies and videos with their national heroes. The people were gathered there to welcome their heroes.

The players of the national team, Faheem Ashraf, Ahmed Shahzad, Hassan Ali and Babar Azam reached at the Lahore airport with the three officials of the team. The sports minister of Punjab and other officials welcomed them and they appreciated their victory in the mega event. Fakhar Zaman made one century and two fifties and he reached at the Peshawar airport. Huge number of people was gathered at the Peshawar airport, then he was taken to his native town, Katlung, Mardan. He was welcomed at the airport and also at his home.

Shadab Khan and Imad Waseem reached Islamabad airport but their family members were not allowed to enter in the Rawal lounge. Hassan Ali was declared the player of the tournament and he also won the golden ball award and he reached at his native city. The people became very happy after watching him at the airport, then he was taken to this city. Haris Sohail reached his home in Sialkot. It is to be clear that the players of the national team like Muhammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Azhar Ali and Junaid Khan stayed in London due to their personal engagements.
