The chief selector of Pakistan cricket board has revised the Pakistani world cup squad 2019 after making three big changes in the national team. Changes in Pak World Cup 2019 Squad.

Fast bowlers Wahab Riaz and Muhammad Amir are inducted in the new world cup squad while Asif Ali is added in the national team after replacing Abid Ali. Faheem Ashraf and Junaid Khan were added in the national team and Leg spinner, Shadab Khan was included in the national team after replacing Yasir Shah as he is now recovered from his illness and available for the national team.

The chief selector supported the bowling changes in the national team as he said that there are unexpectedly true batting wickets in England and the team required someone like Muhammad Amir and Wahab Riaz, who could do reverse swing the ball and they can bowl well in the death  overs. It was the tough decision for him to drop Abid Ali and Junaid Khan from the national team but the chief selector and the team management made these changes according to the requirements of the team.

Sarfaraz Ahmed will be captain of national team and also wicket keeper while Fakhar Zaman and Imam ul Haq will be openers. In the main batting line up, Haris Sohail, Muhammad Hafeez, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik and Asif Ali will be present. Pakistan team has added two all rounders like Imad Waseem and Shadab Khan, and there is the pace battery comprising of Wahab Riaz, Muhammad Amir, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Hassan Ali and Muhammad Husnain.

Pakistani team will play their first one day international match in world cup 2019 against West Indies on 31 May 2019 and the most waited match will be played against India on 16 June 2019.
