Lahore, Shoaib Malik and Shahid Afridi will be included in the world XI. Eion Morgan will be the captain of world XI and the Sri Lankan star player, Thisara Parera will be part of the team. The World XI will play a charity match at Lords on 31 May 2018 in which the match will be played between World XI and West Indies. This match has been managed for the financial assistance of the 5 big venues in West Indies, which were damaged due to thunderstorms, Arma and Maria in 2017.
